Atlantic Institute of Jacksonville would like to thank everyone for attending “Table Abraham- Sharing Ramadan” event. A special thanks to our Host Committee members Ranna Abduljawad, Sabeen Perwaiz Syed, Parvez Ahmed Kan Ibraev & Alex Sivar for their hard work.
We hosted this event as an interfaith initiatives to increase interactions amongst various faith communities and we were happy to see the response and the success of this initiative. Over 220 guests from all variuos of faith, background, ethnicity and race attended the evening. We were honored to have Jacksonville high officilas, refugee families and community leaders joining us for Iftar ( Fast-breaking) Dinner and being part of the bridge that brings us all together.
A special thanks to our amazing keynote speaker Haroon Moghul whose awesome speech and clever reference to Lord of the Rings inspired the audience. Haroon managed to make us laugh even when discussing important and serious topics such as religion and politics.
