Meet the Author – America’s Multifaith Neighborhoods
Wednesday May 2 2018, 6:30 – 8pm, Atlantic Institute of Jacksonville
Dr. Lucinda Mosher and Sharon Eddins, Lead Chaplain at Wolfson Children’s Hospital spoke about recently released book, Personhood, Illness and Death in Multifaith American Neighborhoods. The journey researching and writing this book and how it facilitated weaving together people’s experiences and telling of people’s stories. The book provides insight and a practical guide on how death is approached and accepted across many faiths in today’s world.
The awards were followed by Jacksonville son, energetic and passionate keynote speaker Al Letson. All of their words resonated with the audience and were relevant to our nation’s climate. The diversity of our audience and the words from the podium motivate all of us to do more to inspire interfaith efforts. Atlantic Institute Jacksonville are grateful for the evening’s sponsors and Dinner Committee for their support of the event.
